Are bananas bad luck on a fishing boat? I was setting lines. I turned to see Jared munching on a banana. I almost had a panic attack! We had to get rid of it! He ate one and proceeds to pull out another. I said get rid of it! We went for a long time without a bite. Suddenly 4 poles went off. Landed all 4 fish. It was a major discussion for the rest of the trip. Jared sort of won the discussion and proved his point by catching the biggest fish. A 17 lb Laker. I still feel the jury is out on this issue. Jared did lose a nice steelhead. Thanks Jim, Jared, and Max we had a bunch of fun!
